Maddox Gallery: Searching for Apollo – The Adoration Trilogy Interview Videos

In addition to covering the unveiling of (world-renowned photographer) Alistar Morrison’s latest creation, at London’s V&A Museum on behalf of Maddox Gallery. Cre8ion were given access to the ‘red carpet’ as the Legends featured in Searching for Apollo arrived to attend the night. Among them were legends Alice Cooper, Peter Frampton and Gary Kemp.

Using the replies of the interview and footage from the night, the videos were edited as short entertainment pieces, primarily to be used on social media platforms with square versions provided for Instagram.

Oportfolio Testimonial Video

Oportfolio wanted a more personal testimonial video, and the suggestion of a more relaxed setting and approach was made.

Featuring a couple that was able to buy the house of their dreams with the financial help of Oportfolio, the testimonial takes places inside the house as an informal conversation; with additional shots inside and out showing off the house and what can be achieved with a little help.

Beth Nicholas From Viral to Showcase

From Viral to Showcase

Beth Nicholas went from starving artist to worldwide phenomenon almost overnight. The image ‘Catching my Breath’ gained international fame on Pinterest and opened doors that she had never even dreamt of.

The team at Cre8ion worked with Beth using an interview style to showcase one of her biggest commissions to date for the Address Downtown Dubai Hotel. The paintings took several months to create and we put together a fly on the wall documentary for the launch of the hotel’s refurbishment following a fire in 2016. We interviewed Beth as she worked on these four huge 8.5 metre tall paintings in a warehouse, capturing both the excitement and scale of this incredible new project.

 What makes Beth’s art so incredible is the process she uses to achieve these stunning works and we were very careful to hide the secrets of her success. The footage told the story, showcasing her talents and continuing to help her share the incredible transformation that results from persistence.

Maddox Gallery Countdown Videos

Cre8ion were asked to produce a series of ‘countdown’ videos to be used on social media promoting artists and their exhibitions.

Produced using a combination of existing footage of the artists and images of their new works, using various editing techniques including Paralaxing effects, along with a selected backing track. Seven videos were produced for each artist, to be used one a day in the lead-up week to the relevant artist’s exhibition launch.

On behalf of Maddox Gallery, the Production team headed over to London’s V&A Museum where the unveiling of world-renowned photographer Alistar Morrison’s latest creation took place. Searching for Apollo, the second in a trilogy of works in the making. It features 75 of the worlds rock legends assembled within a spectacular altarpiece.

The crew filmed all they saw that night, and the edit team produced a montage journey of the evening’s events. Styled and personalised to the tastes of Maddox Gallery.

We also produced a ‘behind the scenes’ look and interview with Alistair Morrison, during the design and construction of the Altarpiece giving people an insight into how such a feat was accomplished and the man behind it.

Maddox Gallery – Goodwood Festival of Speed

In collaboration with Rolls Royce, Maddox Gallery has exhibited at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2017 and 2018. Cre8ion were invited along both times to film the event covering the artists at work within the space.

Accompanied by a backing track the Production department created a video montage telling the story of the day and how it unfolded. Highlighting the artist interaction with the guests, their methodology and the relevance of Rolls Royce with the elegance of Maddox Gallery.

GL Integrity Financial Planning Promotional and Testimonial Videos

Footage for Purpose

Building a short video to share the journey investors take when working with Andrew and the team at GL Integrity was one challenge we were prepared to embrace.

Working with the Managing Director, Andrew Stinchcomb we asked a series of questions that would inspire while mixing in footage from a library that would fit. Stock video can often look cheesy and very American, but our team spent time to find shots that would enhance the story of purpose and journey to a UK audience. Using a mix of location based imagery and stock shots gave us a great opportunity to combine interview with narration by Andrew. We framed the whole video with the brand that we created giving a professional touch with the addition of captions and logo idents.

In addition to the promotional video featuring Andrew Stinchcomb, a testimonial from one of his clients was also filmed, using similar techniques the Production department told her story through the edit.

The result were videos that explained how to invest purposefully with GL Integrity and illustrated the importance of being focussed on values based financial planning.

These videos allowed us to create simple social media posts with shorter versions of the videos edited and pointing towards the full version on the website. They were even included at the bottom of each automated blog email to GL Integrity’s database.

 With students from foreign countries wanting to study in the UK we used video to showcase the journey of students from around the globe who were studying successfully at WE Bridge Academy.

 We created a series of testimonial videos and one feature video that became part of the website, with shorter clips being distributed across social media. The result was an engaging set of videos that have contributed to significant traction gained by WE Bridge Academy on both website and social channels. Applications are growing, enquires are on the up and WE Bridge Academy’s 98% pass rate is helping tomorrow’s generation, today.

Benedict Raven Promotional Video

The opportunity to launch a new male fashion brand doesn’t come along every day and working with the team at Benedict Raven on their launch collection was a great experience.

As they undertook their very first fashion shoot as we worked behind the scenes to capture the story and showcase the models in the very best gentleman’s attire. The location-based shoot covered much of the Clifton area in Bristol and finished up at The Milk Thistle in the centre of Bristol. We worked with three models and featured a classic Aston Martin to set the scene.

The video was and subsequent clips and footage were used for Instagram advertising to drive traffic to the new website we built to coincide with the launch.

 In our experience, case studies are great but actually getting someone on video testifying about how much they have benefited from our clients’ input is something else.

So how did we make people look so comfortable on the Executive Foundation testimony videos? Well, we took away the camera staring out the person being interviewed. We asked them questions, and as they talked to us, kept the camera rolling. This left us with a more natural approach that not only feels more authentic but engages the audience more.

These videos formed the basis of an email campaign, were used on social media and are housed on the Executive Foundation’s website. They are also added to each email signature allowing people to see the impact at any time.

As more people join the Executive Foundation, you’ll be seeing them sharing their experiences regularly.
