Battery Technologies is a national company supplying traction batteries and chargers for the material handling and floor care industries. Since the early 1970s, the Broom family has been involved in the supply and service of traction batteries, giving them the expertise necessary to look after battery fleets and ongoing motive power energy requirements. Battery Technologies is the only UK importer for the Bater range of long-service life traction batteries and is the UK service representative for Benning chargers.

A much needed refresh

Mike and Cheryl approached Cre8ion as they wanted to take their business from good to great and gain more influence in the marketplace.

Following a brand workshop, we had a look at where the opportunities lay for Battery Technologies, one of which is the fact that Tesla has made battery technology exciting and put it in the news. Not only that, but people are exploring ways to cut out the rising costs of traditional electricity and fuel and solar-powered companies are looking for battery technology to convert energy into power.

Prototyping the vision

We came up with a Battery Technologies brand which was modern, clean and green, positioning itself as a cleaner alternative. Creatively, they lead with the art of energy and the strap line ‘Power for LIFE’. The look and feel has a Tesla ‘nod’ and the colour green is at the heart of the website. The website reflected Battery Technologies’ USP, (their personal touch) with live chat, exceptional customer service, trusted advice, experience and knowledge of the market.

Building dreams

Battery Technologies now look the part and can focus on building long term partnerships with existing and emerging suppliers. We have given them a brand that makes them outstanding in their field. Sales have increased, the brand has been taken into the office decor, the team has grown in size and their social media presence has become more established, as they daily power their clients up for LIFE.
