Growing your business isn’t easy. You’ll need high levels of commitment as well as great communication to ensure that you continue to progress to your end goal.
It might seem counter-intuitive, but moving forward should involve putting the brake on at times to reflect. One of my worst traits is always wanting to move forward to what is next.
These last few months we have been getting things DONE so I want to make a concerted effort to communicate what we’ve been doing.
Speaking again:
I recently felt the pull to empower people closer to me at our church and Christian community. I spoke at the recent “Kingdompreneurs Conference” in London and brought my son along for the journey (he absolutely loved it).
Pastors Tunji and Elizabeth Olujimi hosted and spoke at the event where we discussed scaling our businesses and our responsibility to make an impact in whatever sphere we found ourselves in. The pastors reminded us that if we are going to call ourselves Christians we have a responsibility to bring light into the business community and a different way of working. We were all reminded about the kind of impact that our leadership needs to have!
I shared on “The Crisis Catalyst” – something that I absolutely love to do. The ‘twist in the tale’ gives people tools that will help them grow in the entrepreneur community.
I had thought about how I could be a light to others so I gave them all a copy of my book. I could have sold them BUT it felt right to do things a bit differently!
4D Entrepreneurs:
Aside from speaking, I have been working with my pastor and launched a group called 4D Entrepreneurs. The idea is to inspire people who want to use their business as a vehicle for doing some good.
Working with Pastor Robbie Howells we have had some amazing speakers who have come to 4D Entrepreneurs to share their story, Camilita Nuttall and Kevin Byrne among them.
Camilita and her husband Andrew have been slowly building a property empire and equipping people to embrace their dreams by building generationally. Camilita inspired me to write “The Crisis Catalyst” with her “Do It Now” mentality for growing your business.
Another highlight of the 4D Group was listening to Kevin Byrne sharing his epic tales of how he built and exited Checkatrade.com and how he used the profits to transform the lives of hundreds of young people and their families in Bangladesh.
App development:
Our team have carved themselves a niche within the app world by embracing no-code tools to bring pace to any dream. This month we have added PlayerCoach360 and PostConnectPlay to the App Store.
These apps have been developed through a partnership between Di9ital and Cre8ion, building on previous successful large-scale projects like www.myshine.co.uk
PlayerCoach360:
This app keeps the coach connected to their team by providing cutting-edge lessons and interventions to ensure the players’ mental health and resilience improve and it keeps them accountable.
This app is already being used by a Premier League football club and, with a queue of great partners, this app is going stateside (long calls into the night) as we continue to scale.
There are some other amazing developments unfolding which I really want to share but more about that in the coming weeks…
PostConnectPlay:
Playing golf is changing as more and more people want to try playing at different courses rather than just joining one club and staying there forever. A fresh approach to golfing has seen a team of avid golfers create an app enabling them to find people to play with quickly and simply, wherever they are.
Post when you want to play, connect with a fellow golfer wanting to play and then find a course near you.
We have a few more joint projects in the offing and, in partnership with Newable, we have been working with some people with incredible ideas. One more game-changing app for people who struggle with dyslexia is coming to market in the next few weeks. Honestly, we have never seen anything like it and the difficulties we have faced creating it indicate the level of complexity that is about to be simplified!
Brand elevation:
Working with one of our long-standing tech clients has been a phenomenal ride of recent, from a complete rebrand and a new website to launching their own podcast. It has been a great journey, understanding the power of AI and managing the power of data and we are excited to launch in the next few weeks!
We are also excited to be launching “Being There” – A Podcast for Carers. The Carers’ Collective, headed by Kaddy Thomas, is a charitable organisation that supports and empowers carers who are struggling to juggle the demands of working with their caring responsibilities.
We have found that podcasts are an amazing way to elevate your brand and add significant value to your audience, giving you opportunities to grow your business and connect with some incredible people.
The Purpose People Podcast is very close to hitting 100 episodes and 2025 will see us elevating our journey with location shoots as we continue to go global.
3D Storytelling and AI Tools:
We are working with construction companies, using 3D models to showcase upgrades of existing building works, CAD drawings and the power of modelling from Google. We have engaged residents on a whole new level and opened doors to equip teams in the delivery of remedial projects.
Along with this exciting journey, we are using video to help other companies retell their stories. We establish a narrative and creative strategies and then we embrace the power of visualisation using AI tech for the creation of storyboards.
The results have been incredible and we will showcase the full journey once we launch the whole story.
So what is in the pipeline for the rest of the year?
Plans are still in place to establish a base for Cre8ion in the US and with one of our clients coming to visit us at the beginning of August this may open more doors.
Our team in the UK will be growing with the addition of some fresh, talented faces in our production arm.
There’s more news to share on how the Hum4ns journey is unfolding as we look to raise our level of impact with some key partners!
Let’s end 2024 even stronger!
