The purposeful people you need to make progress

We are “growing and going” as the saying goes. For us, business in 2025 has already required international travel, and with another trip to the US in February, the dream continues to unfurl!

We have been seeing growth both in Cre8ion and in the sister  companies with whom we work. One of our partnerships, with Hum4ns, has been been creating ride-able waves.

Cre8ion invested its skills, talents and abilities into the project at the start and now we are absolutely delighted to see brand partnerships, coaching of CEO’s and Directors, the launch of our Hum4n Empowered Leadership (HELP) and our growing HUM4NS Talks.

Lexus Bristol have supported us and this brand collaboration has provided Hum4ns with a home for its workshops and events.

Brand alignment

What stands out is the brand alignment of Omotenashi (hospitality) and the commitment to customer care, and HUM4NS’ focus on how to become a Happier, Healthier, Smarter and Kinder person.

That is our key in 2025. Continuous commitment to align ourselves to impact-led, transformative and kind businesses. Brand alignment is helping us to build a platform for generations!

Elevation with each generation

My first Saturday job was washing cars, which I thought was pretty lucrative for a 15 year old, and this was when the entrepreneur bug took hold.

However, today, my eldest child, who is a leader in the making, has started her first Saturday job on the front desk at Lexus Bristol. From car washing to car showrooms! I’m happy to see elevation for her generation. For her, a part-time job in a luxury showroom is a great start and with Paul Hatch as her General Manager, I know she will learn to be her very best.

You see, alignment creates opportunities for you and it is transformative for others. Here are some great alignment pointers to ensure you get the very best out of collaboration and ultimately live in a win-win space!

You share the same values:

It’s no good just talking a good game, you need to align with people that play a good one.

You’ll be aware of values being misaligned when you feel it. When people are quick to demonstrate behaviours that a five year old kid would be uncomfortable with it’s usually a good guide that something is off. Bullying, swearing and harshness are all things you actually don’t have to live with.

Values make both sides valuable and that is the power of win-win.

They love to learn:

You can’t teach an old dog new tricks and if you don’t learn, your results will reveal your level wisdom. Old knowledge gets outsmarted.

I am all for fresh ideas and I’ve learnt that staying relevant is about surrounding myself with people who are creative on and off the field.

For example, AI is seen as a threat by some and even the Metaverse, but as an innovator you shouldn’t ignore what is coming.

I learned to create websites before they were a thing. Younger people introduced me to the world of WordPress, Facebook and a myriad of tools we use daily. That learning journey I believe is what makes Cre8ion healthy.

In any learning journey you will have “black hat” people who look for a problem in every solution and while I used to really hate it, I’ve learned that there is an important place for this kind of thinking. People who think this way may just need to be a little more answer driven.

They communicate, often.

It’s no surprise that the very best people in business talk to people regularly, frequently checking in. When communication gets tiresome, it’s a sure sign of being misaligned. They stop learning, their values shift and you sense hard work!

I have multiple conversations, through various channels, and they continue. Each person is a partner in achieving the impossible. We collaborate. REAL collaborators value family and they enrich communities! They take as many people as they can along for the ride.

Collaborators don’t jump into lifeboats at the expense of women and children! They will be already working together as a team to bring something different to enrich women and children, and their children’s children.

You have fun with them.

Business isn’t easy and a keen sense of humour is something that has carried us through multiple projects. This isn’t toxic banter, rather a healthy attitude to doing the journey. Neither is it casual or flippant, it’s just a great way of knowing you’re with the right people.

I love people on a mission with a sense of humour. They don’t take themselves too seriously but they can get serious work done!

Enjoying the build, the journey, the construction is vital as it is the core part of the story. You’ll spend more time building than just admiring the finished work. You’ll want to do it again and again because you’ll be drawn to the impact it can make!

You love an adventure but want to win and enjoy it.

Alignment is the deciding factor for 2025.

Alignment is the lens I will be making my decisions by. Being in business for so long I have seen the power of misalignment and it’s expensive.

If you’re reading this and understand the importance of alignment we might need to talk!

Our vision is bigger than ever, and this year more than ever we need more talent, tools and territory to scale!

The Purposeful People You Need to Make Progress

Growing and Going: Our Journey Forward

As the saying goes, “We are growing and going!” This statement has never been more accurate for us. The year 2025 has already been a whirlwind of progress, requiring international travel and opening new doors in the global market. As we prepare for another trip to the United States in February, our dreams continue to unfold before our eyes.

Growth is evident not only within Cre8ion but also among our sister companies and partnerships. One particularly exciting collaboration has been with Hum4ns, a company making tremendous strides in its industry. Our involvement from the start has positioned us well to witness the incredible progress firsthand.

At Cre8ion, we invest our skills, talents, and expertise in projects that we believe in. The Hum4ns initiative is no exception. What started as a vision has now materialised into something impactful. The success we have seen includes major brand partnerships, leadership coaching for CEOs and directors, the launch of our Hum4n Empowered Leadership (HELP) program, and the continued growth of HUM4NS Talks.

One of our most valued collaborations has been with Lexus Bristol. Their support has provided Hum4ns with a solid home base for hosting workshops and events, fostering a community of like-minded individuals dedicated to personal and professional growth.

The Power of Brand Alignment

One of the most critical factors in our ongoing success has been brand alignment. We firmly believe that businesses thrive when they align themselves with like-minded brands that share similar values and visions for the future.

The concept of Omotenashi, which embodies the Japanese approach to hospitality and customer care, resonates deeply with HUM4NS’ mission. At its core, Hum4ns is about cultivating individuals who are happier, healthier, smarter, and kinder. This synergy between Lexus Bristol and Hum4ns exemplifies what happens when two brands come together under a unified mission.

Looking ahead in 2025, our primary focus remains on aligning with impact-led, transformative, and kind businesses. This approach is the foundation upon which we are building a lasting legacy—one that will benefit generations to come.

Elevation with Each Generation

The concept of generational progress is something I hold close to my heart. I still vividly remember my first Saturday job as a 15-year-old, washing cars. At the time, it felt like an incredibly lucrative opportunity, but more importantly, it was the first spark of my entrepreneurial spirit.

Fast forward to today, and I’m witnessing my eldest child step into her own career journey. She has recently started her first Saturday job working at the front desk of Lexus Bristol. From car washing to working in a luxury showroom—this progression embodies the essence of elevation for each generation.

This opportunity provides her with a solid foundation, valuable life lessons, and hands-on experience in a professional environment. And with an outstanding leader like Paul Hatch as her General Manager, I have no doubt that she will develop into the best version of herself.

This story is a testament to the power of alignment. When we position ourselves correctly, we don’t just create opportunities for personal success—we pave the way for transformational change in the lives of others.

Keys to Powerful Alignment: Finding the Right People

If you want to maximise the potential of your partnerships and collaborations, it all starts with aligning yourself with the right people. Here are some critical alignment factors to consider:

1. Shared Values: The Foundation of Any Successful Partnership

It’s not enough to talk a good game—you need to play a good one.

The easiest way to spot misalignment is through actions, not words. If you find yourself working with individuals who exhibit behaviours that would make a five-year-old uncomfortable, something is definitely off. Whether it’s bullying, excessive swearing, or harsh interactions—these are red flags you do not have to tolerate.

Values make both sides valuable. When values align, everyone involved benefits, and the power of a win-win collaboration becomes evident.

2. A Love for Learning: The Key to Continuous Growth

“You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.” But here’s the reality—if you stop learning, your results will expose your lack of wisdom.

The world is evolving at an unprecedented pace. If you refuse to embrace innovation, you’ll quickly become irrelevant. Look at artificial intelligence and the Metaverse—some see them as threats, while others see them as opportunities. As a true innovator, you cannot afford to ignore the future.

I personally experienced this lesson when I learned how to build websites before they became mainstream. It was the younger generation that introduced me to WordPress, Facebook, and a vast array of digital tools that are now an integral part of our daily operations.

In any learning journey, you’ll encounter “black hat” thinkers—those who identify problems in every solution. While this mindset used to frustrate me, I’ve come to appreciate its value. Critical thinkers play an essential role in identifying potential pitfalls, and they just need to be solution-oriented in their approach.

3. Consistent and Open Communication

The most successful people in business prioritise frequent and open communication. If communication starts to feel exhausting, it’s usually a sign of misalignment.

When values shift, learning stops, and things begin to feel like hard work, it’s time to reassess. Successful teams maintain ongoing dialogues through multiple channels, ensuring everyone is on the same page and working toward a common goal.

True collaborators understand the bigger picture. They value family, enrich communities, and uplift those around them. Their success is not just personal—it’s shared.

4. Enjoying the Journey: Business with a Sense of Humour

Let’s be honest—business is not easy. That’s why a good sense of humour is essential.

Having a healthy perspective on challenges and setbacks can be the difference between burnout and breakthrough. This doesn’t mean being flippant or unprofessional—it means recognising that enjoying the journey is just as important as reaching the destination.

Some of the best people I’ve worked with have a fantastic sense of humour. They know how to balance serious work with genuine enjoyment, making the process both productive and fulfilling.

At the end of the day, the journey itself is what makes the story worthwhile. If you love the process, you’ll want to do it again and again. And when you align with the right people, the impact you create together becomes limitless.

The Power of Alignment in 2025

As we step deeper into 2025, alignment is the defining factor in all our decisions.

Through years of experience, I’ve seen the costly consequences of misalignment. Whether it’s wasted time, lost opportunities, or fractured relationships—misalignment is an expensive mistake to make.

But when alignment is strong, the results speak for themselves. Partnerships flourish, growth accelerates, and transformation becomes inevitable.

If you’re reading this and you understand the power of alignment, we should talk.

This year, our vision is bigger than ever. We need more talent, better tools, and greater territory to scale our impact. Are you ready to align with us?
