Purpose Questionnaire

This is an area where you lack confidence. You have heard how building a purposeful business starts with belief in yourself. A dream you launched with now inspires others to chase their dreams and your company helps them on their way.

You feel like you are just starting out even though you have put already in some hard yards. Delighting your clients was the reason you got into this business in the first place and you know you can make a difference. In fact, come to think of it, you have never had to ask for a referral. You dream of people seeing your logo and knowing immediately what you are about, you just need some help in the ‘how’.

While becoming famous is good for business, you don’t want to be seen as the sum of all the parts. You have an outstanding team of individuals that carry the banner and you see your future role as more of a signpost to others, sharing your wealth of experience with the broader audience. You are being recognised as someone who knows how to make a big splash but you know fresh markets and opportunities are available.

Your business has a name that can be trusted. It took a while, but this is something you dreamed about. You have finally gotten to the other side BUT know you have do more in different markets to shape your industry for years to come. Innovation is what you want to be known for as you continue to diversify you services and product ranges. As you transition from local to global you are hiring the very best talent to make an impact for years to come. When people look at you, they know what you and your business stand for. You truly have made waves.

Working in the business is something you revert to... a lot. Only problem is that you get more fired up working on the business and planning impact over income. You desire to be able to do this more. You aspire to be the ambassador for a team that excites and excels without your constant help. Making a choice to remove yourself from the day to day is an important factor in both your professional ambitions and personal life. Yes, building a business from scratch, and seeing it flourish are both rewarding and exciting but now your thoughts are on legacy. You may have started to share freely with others how you got there but know you have a book to write and people that you would like to mentor. Inspiring others to take the future in their own hands inspires your day as you add value to those around you. You aspire to make more impact with causes aligned to your values and you love giving back. It’s time to share more on how you can help and that it’s possible to make a difference.

Legacy is your focus right now. If you can spend all your time there you would. You are blessed and excited about the way things turned out. You took a few knocks on the road to success but have learned the lessons to ride even the toughest of waves. You know there is more in you and you want to share your story to help more people take risks. Staying safe has never been an option but transforming the world about you has. You want to capitalise on giving that benefits purpose, people, and planet. The time is now.
