Since 2011, Shine Wraparound Care Limited quickly established itself as one of the South West’s leading sports coaching and childcare companies with a deserved reputation for delivering professional, reliable and affordable services to schools, parents and children alike.

Creating an industry leading brand

Shine approached Cre8ion looking to elevate their brand and adopt a look, feel and identity that matches their 5 star sports childcare service.

We worked with the Shine team to create a brand that they can be proud of, rooted in the four pillars Belief, Belong, Best and Beyond. Equipped with mission, vision and values, Shine were then ready to revolutionise their sector with industry leading childcare booking software, kitted out with an industry leading brand.

A purpose led approach

The previous Shine website was not user friendly, and essential user journeys such as checking out were bloated, leading to friction. We focussed on the user experience and considered all core user journeys in the rebuild of the UX/UI. Our goal was to make the user journey easy, frictionless and polished; an experience fitting for a leading sports childcare provider of Shine’s stature.

Prototyping the vision

Following an in-depth UX teardown workshop session with the Shine team, we designed and executed fully working prototypes of the website on desktop and mobile. From there, we got to the fun part of skinning the new user experience with the brand that we created for Shine.

The result

After completing the brand and booking website prototype, we passed the designs over to our partner company Di9ital to build. The result is a brand and website that is intuitive and accessible for all users and inspires children across the UK through sport and creative activities.
